Kerri is a plastic surgery registrar working in the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Her interest in global health began as a medical student working with Medsin and developed during an elective spent working in remote clinics in Kenya. Having completed a Masters in Design for Healthcare, she was introduced to the concept of frugal innovation and is very interested in exploring applications of this in a surgical setting. Working with GASOC, she hopes to build links with international trainees interested in global health and promote global health events and projects among Irish trainees.
