Noel Aruparayil

Noel is a senior resident in General and HPB surgery in the UK with an interest in global surgery, leadership and surgical technology. He is a PhD candidate at the School of Medicine, University of Leeds, exploring the implementation of laparoscopic surgery in resource-constrained settings. He also teaches and supervises students at the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development - University of Leeds. Noel is the past president of GASOC and currently sits on the advisory board for GASOC and PROXIMIE. He is on the Executive Committee for Innovations in Global Surgery and RCSEd Global Surgery Foundation. (Photo: same as on the GASOC website thanks)
