GASOC were delighted to partner with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in delivering a workshop at the popular "Global Surgical Frontiers" (GSF) conference on 15th June. Participants undertook a simulation of health partnership work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and heard firsthand accounts of the challenges of such an undertaken. The session was led by Miss Elizabeth Tissingh, Kathryn Ford and Stuart Ferguson.
Feedback was positive and we hope to continue supporting GSF in future years.
