Anaesthetics & Intensive Care
My interest in Global Health began at medical school where I visited Kenya with child.org and subsequently completed a placement as a final year at a Government Hospital in Cambodia. Witnessing the great things that can be achieved in hospitals with limited resources inspired me to further my understanding of the situation. I continued my Global Health journey in Ethiopia where I worked to help improve Anaesthesia training and provision. The problem of limited access to safe surgery for billions around the world is finally starting to be addressed and for me, GASOC has been a key player in spreading this message between trainees with a similar focus.
